About DeskPop

DeskPop is house-neutral by design: generation never applies a publication stylesheet. The stylesheet dials below shape the Style pass. Set once; they hold. The stylesheet itself (AP, International) is chosen in the panel on the left. The voice is a craft archetype chosen from the Style control, governed by a stakes-gate that keeps wit away from grave news. The way into each story is chosen from the Way in control; the engine takes the requested way in only when the copy can support it, and says so above the story when it cannot. Fact-fidelity is enforced unconditionally: the editorial method and the source-fidelity laws are constant; only the prose archetype and the way in change.

On grave news, every style converges on straight reporting. The bigger the human consequence, the quieter the tool.
